Build first, then borrow? It rarely works like that
Financing a new build in Spain follows its own rules. The money is released in stages as the work progresses, the plot and the construction can be treated as separate parts of the deal and your residency status affects what a bank will lend you. Most buyers only learn this halfway through, once decisions have already been made and money is already committed.
In this session John Wolfendale of Eco Vida Homes sits down with the team at Habeno, a Spanish mortgage broker who arrange finance for international clients every week. Between them they answer the questions buyers ask most often, so you can plan with real numbers instead of guesswork.
